Mehadi Foundation
The Mehadi Foundation is a non-profit organization that serves as a support network providing assistance to US Armed Forces veterans enlisted during Operation Iraqi Freedom who seek help dealing with issues of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, drug and alcohol concerns and other issues. They also provide aid and assistance to Iraqi civilians as these individuals attempt to rebuild in the wake of the conflict, with specific emphasis on the alleviation of hunger and rebuilding homes and schools destroyed in the War.

Transgender American Veterans Association
TAVA is a non-profit organization that acts proactively with other concerned gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender organizations to ensure that transgender veterans will receive appropriate care for their medical conditions. They also work on educating the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Defense (DoD) on issues regarding fair and equal treatment of transgender and transsexual individuals.

SLDN is a national, non-profit legal services, watchdog and policy organization dedicated to ending discrimination against and harassment of military personnel affected by "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and related forms of intolerance. They provide free, confidential counseling for service members harmed by "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."
